About Shannon
I have been in the mental health and substance use field for almost 30 years. My credentials include:
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensed in WV and VA
- Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Clinical Supervisor (AADC-CS)
- Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP)
- Clinical Mental Health Specialist in Trauma (CMHS-T)
- Clinical Mental Health Specialist in Child and Adolescent Therapy (CMHS-CA)
I can also supervise those seeking their LPC in WV, as an Approved Licensed Professional Supervisor (ALPS). And I can supervise those seeking ADC (Advance Drug Counselor) or AADC (Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor) addiction certification.
I am currently working towards my certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. A specialized therapy technique, focusing on the mind-body connection which helps people heal from the emotional distress caused by trauma.
I also have training and practice in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). A therapy technique that helps children that have experienced a traumatic or distressing life event(s).

About Michael
I have been practicing as an outpatient mental health therapist for the last three and half years in Princeton, WV. I received my Bachelors in Psychology. I graduated from Marshall University with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and an advanced graduate certificate in violence, loss, and trauma counseling. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist (CYMHS). I am currently working towards credentials as a Registered Play Therapist. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of West Virginia.
I have received specialized training in trauma treatment, post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, grief, child and adolescent development, and changes in life. I provide therapy services for adults, children, and adolescents. I am trained in a variety of theories but believe the most important piece is the therapeutic relationship, providing unconditional positive regard, empathy, and authenticity. I strive to be the present listening ear you need while providing you tools for your toolbox.

About Skyler
Hi! I’m Skyler McCallister. I’m a Licensed Graduate Social Worker in the State of West Virginia, Born and raised in WV, I have a strong love for life here, while also acknowledging that there are changes that need to be made here. My hope is to offer the best informed care to others and help to make life feel more manageable. Counseling has been my dream job since I was young, and I am so excited to work with you!
I attended Concord University and graduated with my undergraduate degrees of Psychology and Social Work in 2022, and earned my Masters of Social Work in 2023. I have been offering counseling in the Princeton area since 2024, and am working to achieve my independent licensure (LICSW,) hopefully within the next two years. I am currently trained in Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing and working towards certification, as well as Kids Based Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, and Brainspotting. I take a person centered approach, leaning more towards emotion focused therapy and motivational interviewing to help you feel the best about your decisions.
I work with folks from all walks of life – children, teens, adults, all races, genders, sexual orientations, religions, you name it (but I am definitely partial to my teenagers!) I hope all of my clients – past, present, and future – feel that they can enter my office and be themselves without fear, judgment, and a readiness to be their best selves.

Ashley is one of the most ethical and dedicated counselors who help individuals navigate life’s challenges. She brings humble compassion and energy to the office.
Ashley has a background in psychology and social work and several years of hands-on experience. She is passionate about creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can openly share their thoughts and feelings. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply a difficult season in life, she is here to listen and support you. Ashley also offers faith-based therapy and enjoys working with both children and adults.
Ashley grew up in Kentucky and moved to West Virginia seven years ago. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and began her career by facilitating inpatient substance abuse groups. She later worked with children who have severe emotional disabilities. She went on to earn her Master of Social Work with a concentration in mental health from the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville.
Since moving to West Virginia, she continues and loves to build connections in this community and beginning her journey as a counselor here. She is excited to continue meeting new faces and walking alongside others on their path to wellness. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and playing video games!

Hello! I am excited to begin my career with Families R Us LLC and am deeply passionate about counseling. I hold a Master’s Degree in Human Services Counseling with a specialization in Crisis and Trauma from Liberty University, and I am currently continuing my education to pursue LPC licensure.
I have worked in the mental health field for over six years, gaining valuable experience with a wide variety of mental health conditions. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care. I also utilize a person-centered approach to meet the unique needs of each individual I work with. I provide services to both adolescents and adults.
My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to take meaningful steps toward healing and growth. I believe counseling is a collaborative process, and I am honored to walk alongside you as you discover new strengths, hope, and direction.
